The AIS web site requires JavaScript to be enabled, and for the Browser to support Dynamic HTML (DHTML) in order for you to be able to log-in and navigate around their site.
AltAIS provides functionality to enable users of Browsers without JavaScript to log in, and to jump directly to useful AIS documents (such as the AIP) without having to use the AIS DHTML menus.
If you have not been able to register with AIS, AltAIS now provides a JavaScript-less registration page to help you do so.
Once you have clicked the "Login" button, if you are using a PC-based browser the AIS website will open in a new window. You can then use the links on the NOTAMs, AIP, and Other Pages to jump to the related sections of the AIP website.
For users of PDAs and mobile phones, the AIS website will load into this window. You will need to hit your "back" button to return to this page, then move forward through the links above to get to the page you want.
You must be a registered user of, and logged in to the NATS/AIS website to utilise the facilities of Alt.AIS. Your details are submitted directly to 'http://195.217.206.162/aes/j_security_check', and are not captured in any way by this web site. This feature allows browsers not running JavaScript to access the NATS website.
